RECIPE: Spicy and Sweet Smoothie

It’s berry season, so now is the perfect time to blend up this colorful treat.  Packed with cancer-fighting antioxidants and inflammation and bacteria busting ingredients, it’s the perfect thing for your whole bod–in both a waistline trimming and immune boosting way, so boom! Mix it up!

In a blender combine:

3 frozen strawberries

1 frozen banana, chopped

1/2-1 cup arugula

1/4 inch slice of fresh ginger

1 handful of cashews (~10-15)

dash of red pepper flakes

1 cup filtered water

Voila!
