Good for you for bringing a veggie tray! It’s nice to have something to nosh on that is NOT deep fried or lathered in cheese! Next time you’re called on to provide a glimmer of nutrition for the snackfest, mix it up! Consider switching up the carrots and celery for something that pops with color that people will want to pop in their mouths.
I love the color burst of mini peppers—not hot, not sweet, but crunchy, deliciously good! Kids love ’em too! (Just ignore the bacon wrapped, cream cheese stuffed jalapeno peppers lurking in the background, mmmkay? Or don’t.)
Other great, atypical, healthful, crowd pleasing snack options: Snap peas sprinkled with lemon zest, black pepper and sea salt, Prosciutto wrapped cantaloupe or avocado and smoked salmon skewers. What are your favorite healthy smorgsboard options?
Belgian endive leaves with a smoked tuna dip. I just add a couple drops of Liquid Smoke to our favorite tuna dip. Yum! All of it!
Ummm, YUM!
Why don’t I have liquid smoke?
You probably make your own?
Thanks for sharing!

No, I don’t! 🙂 I’m sure it’s not good for me. But since a little goes a loooong way, I just do it. Live a little to love a lot. Or whatever. 🙂
