RECIPE: Fixer Elixir

Tis the season for tree timing and gift giving, ’tis also the season for getting….coughs and head colds, that is…

Especially if you are dashing about, decorating the halls, and generally over-extending yourself, you may find yourself a little run down.

The moment you feel that fullness in the back of your throat or the congestion in your nose, concoct this creation to stop that cold before it grows fur and antlers!

Fixer Elixir 2In a blender combine the following ingredients:

1 cup filtered water

1 cup organic spinach

1/2 cup ice

The juice and pulp of 1/2 lemon (seed are fine too)

1/2 inch x 1/2 inch cube go ginger

1 dash (1/8 tsp) cayenne pepper

1 Tbsp of honey (preferably raw)

Mix together, guzzle and let the healing begin!
