I just sent a link to this page to my dear wife — this sounds like something we would both enjoy! Thanks for sharing!

Great! I hope you two enjoyed them!
A semi-portable snack sans chocolate for a high-energy cycling Gu substitute!

Agree with All Seasons Cyclist! These look and sound delicious! I have a couple hours here without kids, and I’m thinking maybe I should just go make some up for ME! I had to laugh because your old eating habits sound just like mine! Printing recipe now.

Oh Good! hope you like them as much as we do! Yeah, I’m afraid to admit how many Mc Flurries I’ve devoured during my Medical school days!

I am enjoying these right now! Awesome! I love the unique crunch the walnuts add to the creaminess. I did dip them in chocolate. And I substituted cashew butter for almond butter due to some minor almond intolerances. Otherwise, followed recipe and LOVE them! Will make again for sure. (For me it was McDonald’s diet coke and fries–and Indian buffets–and lattes. Indianapolis’s Riley’s Children’s Hospital was right there and had a McDonald’s inside. Ugh.) And the photograph for this post was exceptional!

Oh yeah, I used to tear up a Chinese Buffet—would’ve hit Indian too if there was one around!thanks Re: photo (just taken with my iPhone, before I devoured!!)
