This should be called: You’re not gonna believe this tastes this good Smoothie
In a Blender (or Vitamix) Combine:
1/2 cup -1 cup milk (Cow, Almond, Hemp–your call–these days I’m using hemp milk, because it’s a superfood and seriously delicious)
1/2 cup ice (just a handful really)
1/4 cup coffee beans or grounds
1/2 banana
1 cup spinach (trust me, you wont taste it! quit doubting and get your greens on!)
1 Tbsp (heaping tablespoon) of almond butter (optional)
1/2-1 tsp sweetener of choice (I use honey, agave or a splash of Oregon Chai tea mix)
dash or two of cinnamon
If I called this a coffee and spinach smoothie, you wouldn’t try it, but it is seriously good—as with all my smoothie recipes, tweak it to how you like it. More milk less sweetener, more almond butter less coffee. Do your thang!

I am going to have to take your word for this one! A coffee and spinach smoothie just doesn’t sound right to me.

But don’t knock it til you’ve tried it!
This is really tasty! I even think you could go less on the coffee without compromising the flavor. I found myself rinsing coffee “nubs” from my teeth so may try this with actual brew or finer grind…great with almond milk.

SO glad! And yes, probably way better with brewed coffee (I’m all about efficiency, so one less step) Plus I like the “crunch” of the ground bean.
